social responsibility. We have always adopted environment-friendly business practices and encourage
our customers to do so to. Dumping of empty ink cartridges poses an environmental threat and
we understand the severity of this threat. AskForInk.com recycling program is an initiative started
to address this issue of printer cartridge dumping. Under
the purview of this program we encourage our customers and all printer ink cartridges users
to send us empty and used cartridge(s) for recycling purposes. As a token of appreciation, you can
avail one of the benefits in exchange for your used cartridges:
In other words, if the value of HP cartridges were $20 and you send us 5 empty HP ink cartridges, you will be given a
$10 discount ($2 per cartridge@10%) on the next purchase of 5 ink cartridges of equivalent
value. Or you get a flat $5 for the 5 cartridges (if they are Lexmark, Dell or HP).
All kinds of printer ink cartridges are accepted as long
as they are in working condition and free of damages. So choose your discount and do your part in
giving back to society and environment as a whole.
Return Instructions:
Please adhere to the following simple instructions to avail the discounts and cash credits.
You may take a print-out of the Use the US Postal Service pre-paid mailer tag to send us the empties.
To prevent transit damage, ensure proper packaging of the empty cartridges. It is recommended to
use a transparent scotch tape to stick the mailer tag to the box. This will allow clear visibility
of the mailer and help expedite the process. Since this is a pre-paid mailer, you will not incur
any shipping charges if you send it via
your local post-office.
Required contact information:
The following details are essential for expediting the crediting of your account or to send you
a payment. Askforink.com pledges to uphold your right to privacy at all times. We will keep your
personal information confidential and will not be sold to a third party.
- Your Name
- Your Full Address, Telephone #
- Email Address
- A list of the empties being shipped to us
(Please include the quantity of each type of cartridge)
Reward:
Once we receive the empties, kindly allow 5-10 days for cartridge inspection since we receive
large volumes of empties.
After inspection for damages, based on your
elgibility, you will be presented with appropriate
options. This mainly depends on the brand of the cartridges sent and the condition.
The 10% discounts will be added to your account as a credit for future purchases on
Askforink.com. All HP, Lexmark or Dell printer cartridge users will
receive a cash rebate via Paypal or a check will be mailed.
Elgibility:
You are eligible for the 10% discount in lieu of all kind of empties except toner cartridges.
This discount can be applied towards all purchases on AskForInk.com.
A $1.00 cash credit per cartridge is applicable only on HP, Lexmark or Dell empty cartridges.
All cartridges must be damage-free. We do not accept any toner cartridges at this time,
though we may start this at a later stage. Keep checking this page on updates in the ink cartridge recycling program.
Terms:
- When you send us your return, it is mandatory to include your contact information.
- Kindly allow about 10 working days from date of receipt for processing your
return.
- In case of cash credits, the credit will be transferred immediately after the
processing via Paypal or by check. All checks will incur a $0.50 handling fee which will be
adjusted from the total amount.
- Damaged empty cartridges will not receive any credit or payment. We cannot send you
back the empty cartridge in case of rejection by inspection team due to the costs involved in the
logistics.
- By participating in our Recycling Program, you agree to the above terms. Any failure to
comply with these terms will result in rejection of your request. We reserve the right to change
